Zat this is extraordinary you share “A fear is nothing more than an abstraction”.
Fear has no reality on it’s own except through thought. Thought reinforces fear. Thought keeps fear alive. Thought doesn’t want to die as the ruler of life. Why would thought want to end itself? Make itself unimportant?
When actual fear really takes place there is no thought. Then thought comes in and adds a narriative. This is the stress, frustration and suffering of thought
When you are able to see thoughts as thoughts. Not life itself. There is an opening. This new dimensions becomes an ordinary part of your life.
You feel an aliveness you have never known in thought!
Setting aside thought as the essence of who you are is to live in freedom, creativity and love.
We “think” to set aside thought is complicated. That is what thought tells us.
It is simple. Yet mostly thought doesn’t want anything to do with ending itself.
