This is an amazing insight. Think about how many young are failing in K-12 education. At such a young age we are letting the system fail them? Why? Because they are deserving of failing. Or possibly can it be that educators are missing something about the way they influence them in their learning.

Is the focus on as you say….Bringing forth human possibility!

Maybe their own self-image and identity is the focus. Not giving students a powerful context for what learning is and what it means in their life.

We have a deficit learning model, showing kids how they don’t measure up. This is decimating society.
