Tim, this statement has always struck me.
“As the Zen proverb says: To understand nothing takes time”.
How can nothing be understood in time which is full of wandering thoughts.
I admire that you have meditated for those many days in a row.
Is there a usefulness to slowing down the mind?
Or until we really see the nature of thought itself will our lives pretty much remain the same. Defined by what thought tells us is best to do for life?
I love this quote you shared, “There’s a saying that helps: “If you let go a little you a will have a little peace; if you let go a lot you will have a lot of peace; if you let go completely you will have complete peace. ”
At what point do human beings see the true nature of thought and let go completely.
