This is profound, “The human minds are mines of intelligence, waiting to be explored. The more we nurture them, the better for us. We might be losing out a lot by the virtue of not exploiting this valuable resource!”
Now what……I believe that if kids understood when they were young that they were creative geniuses at heart and nothing could take that away from them. They could be auto mechanics or professors but they would understand their worth as a creative human being. This outlook would change their life.
It would not be like the current K-12 system where there are winners and losers. Where children are measured, labeled, sorted and their worth determined by archaic standards of grading designed in the 1800's.
There is a huge cognitive bias against social economic status. The social context is to see poverty as certain disadvantages they will have to live with. This may or may not be correct but the social context says they can’t win.
They may if they were shown the creative genius they are within and not the measurement they are given on the surface.
