perppeStephen, awesome read. “And in those moments, this is when you change. If you are willing and open and ready to except this change, the experience of pulling through and grasping some kind of success will alter you for better”.
Why is it necessary to break out of the mold, be vulnerable and see what lies beyond fear and failure? Because as you so eloquently put it, “Everything you get wrong will enable you to get more right in the future”. Human beings don’t like to be wrong and are often unwilling to admit that they may have made a mistake. I love mistakes. Once you get used to reflecting on mistakes and being vulnerable, like you say, a whole new world opens up!
How cool would this be for children to learn this at a young age in school. That they weren’t always focused on getting the right answer. That they could begin to like their mistakes and see that they are a great learning tool. Failure may take on a very different meaning for human beings if this were coached!
Happy Thanksgiving! Grateful four your thoughts.
