Nadine, love what you wrote here, “Due to sexist viewpoints of many brilliant thinkers, I believe they had flaws and were not as wise as the awed reader may imagine them to be. However, I set the example for many females in society — to have our voices heard and our intellection spilling out, to further investigate life and the circle of Truth”.
I too see myself as a philosopher. I hadn’t known about the sexist views of many men philosophers but it sounds about right.
Thank you for bringing to my attention that woman in philosophy are rare.
I have felt since I was very young, there is more to this life than meets the eye.
It pains me to even hear you say of how you should read more of what your religion says.
I like that you ponder and not simply accept others thoughts, especially those that don’t empower. I like that you are considering how others stated words may be missing key elements.
You are amazing to venture out of your comfort zone and take on the challenge of discovering your own voice and philosophy.
You go woman!
